A friend of ours owned this model smoker (for the past year) and once we had a meal at his house cooked in it we had to buy one. I was a little worried when I read the reviews, but I have to say that 3 months on we have had no problems, and use it 2-3 times a week.
At the sale price of 9 (including shipping) if it lasts more than a year we will be happy, if for no other reason it means that I don't have to fire up the grill and smoke food that way anymore.
Also, nothing pisses off your friends that spent crazy money on a Green Egg more then when you show up with your food prepared in this smoker and people like it better.. which happens all the time.
